Regional Channel Manager | Mountain West | UC & CC
NOW HIRING: Regional Channel Manager, Pacific Northwest and Mountain West A confidential search managed by The Channel Advisors
A privately held, profitable UCaaS provider has retained The Channel Advisors to find its next Regional Channel Manager for the Northwest. This is a rare seat: a stable, debt free, channel only company that has grown organically for more than two decades, where tenure is measured in years, not months. If you are tired of private equity churn and the next reorg, keep reading.
This is not a rebuild. The territory finished last year as the company's top producing region, is on quota today, and has a deep bench of active selling partners. The current manager is stepping into a local role with no travel, and the company wants the seat filled fast so the momentum does not slip.
The Company (in broad strokes)
Privately owned, cash flow positive, no private equity, no acquisition risk
Channel only model: they never compete with their partners by selling direct
A genuinely differentiated platform: hosted and premise on one identical experience, so a partner can land a premise deal today and migrate that same customer to hosted later without ripping anything out
Hardware as a service that builds recurring revenue for partners
US based support, strong presence in SLED, education, and county government
Culture built on loyalty: people come and they stay
The Territory Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Alaska, plus Western Canada for premise and private label opportunities. The Salt Lake and Boise corridors are built up with established agents; Seattle and Portland are the growth markets where the next wave of partners is being recruited right now. You inherit real revenue, an active partner base, and a dedicated inside sales rep whose goals are aligned with yours.
What you will do
Manage and grow the existing agent and VAR/dealer base across the territory
Recruit new selling partners, with a focus on legacy Avaya, Mitel, ShoreTel, and Toshiba dealers looking for a better platform
Deepen relationships with the TSDs and distributors active in your region
Run your own demos, lunch and learns, and partner trainings. Pre sales engineers are available for large opportunities, but this company expects its channel managers to know the product well enough to present it without a safety net
Carry two quotas, hosted and premise, both set to be attainable, not aspirational
Hit the road. Partners in this territory expect to see you in person, and the role is built around that
What you bring
Software or telecom sales experience required; UCaaS, hosted or premise UC, IP telephony, contact center, or SaaS strongly preferred
Existing relationships in the TSD channel; you are already known in this industry
Enough technical comfort to demo, train, and answer the first layer of questions yourself
A genuine road warrior: heavy travel across a large geography, in front of partners most weeks
Stable tenure: a track record of staying and building, not job hopping
You live in the territory, within reasonable reach of a major airport
The package
Base 100k to 130k depending on experience
On target earnings north of 200k in year one, uncapped, with accelerators
Quarterly commissions; last year a single quarterly check in this territory came in just under six figures
New dealer recruiting bonuses and milestone incentives
Health, dental, vision, 401k match, unlimited vacation
Territory marketing and event budget, plus a modern AI enabled sales stack
Structured onboarding: roughly 45 days of product and process training before you are expected to be at full speed
Reporting and process You report to the Director of Channel Sales, who reports to the VP of Sales. Both are hands on and both interview. Start date is as soon as the right person is found.
